Penumbra

Penumbra is a brand new speculative fiction eMagazine brought into the world by eBook publisher Musa Publishing. At Penumbra, we stand for providing our readers with excellent speculative fiction and related articles for less. Our online model means we have a low overhead, allowing us to do this while still paying our authors the professional rate of five cents per word. Subscriptions can be bought here for a low $36 dollars, and advertising in our magazine starts with half page ads for $50.00, whereas in similarly themed print magazines it’s not uncommon to pay $500 for a half page ad.

As an editorial intern for Penumbra I’ve had the pleasure of interviewing several authors for Penumbra and managing the Penumbra Blog. On this page I’ll be listing the issues that I’ve worked on along with the posts I’ve written for the Penumbra blog. I’ll also be mentioning future issues, submission deadlines and any special offers we have in the future.
